By accessing or using TruthAlert (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to use prediction markets in your jurisdiction. The Platform is not available to users in the United States or any other jurisdiction where prediction markets are prohibited by law. You are solely responsible for determining whether your use of the Platform is lawful.
You create an account using your email address. To deposit or withdraw funds, you connect a self-custodial crypto wallet. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your wallet and account credentials. TruthAlert never has access to your private keys.
TruthAlert operates binary (YES/NO) prediction markets using an automated market maker (AMM). When you place a bet, you buy a position at the current market price. If you predict correctly, your position pays out $1 per unit. If you predict incorrectly, your position is worth $0. Prices move based on market demand. Markets are resolved by platform administrators based on publicly verifiable outcomes.
All deposits and withdrawals are conducted in USDC on the Polygon blockchain. On-chain transactions are irreversible. TruthAlert is not responsible for funds sent to incorrect addresses or lost due to wallet misuse. Deposits are credited after on-chain confirmation. Withdrawals are processed from the platform vault contract.
Markets are resolved by platform administrators. While we strive for accurate and timely resolution, the final outcome is determined at the sole discretion of TruthAlert administrators. In cases of ambiguity, a market may be cancelled and all bets refunded. Resolution decisions are final.
TruthAlert currently charges no platform fees on winning payouts. There are no fees on deposits, withdrawals, or losing bets (beyond the bet amount itself). Fee structure may change with prior notice.
Prediction markets involve financial risk. You may lose your entire bet amount. Past performance does not indicate future results. Cryptocurrency values may fluctuate. Smart contract risk exists—while audited, no code is guaranteed bug-free. You should only bet amounts you can afford to lose.
You agree not to: use the Platform for money laundering or illegal activity; attempt to manipulate market outcomes; create multiple accounts to exploit promotions; use bots or automated systems without authorization; or interfere with the Platform’s operation.
All content, branding, and code on TruthAlert is the property of TruthAlert or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Platform without written permission.
TruthAlert is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, TruthAlert and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Platform.
